LAMAYURU TO CHILLING TREK

8-Days / 7-Nights Adventure

Day 1

Arrival at Leh. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a full day of rest at the hotel, where welcome tea and coffee will be provided. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local market. Overnight in Leh.

Day 4

Wanla - Hinju. Follow a sandy trail to Phenjilla Village at around 3,400 meters and pass through the dispersed village of Ursi. Navigate a tight gorge before arriving at a Rangthak (flour mill) and continue to Hinju Village. Overnight in camp.

Day 7

Dundun Chan-La Base - Chilling.
Trek up to Dungdung Chan-La, situated at around 4,800 meters. Descend to a ridge leading into the valley, tapering off towards Chilling Village. Drive along the Zanskar River to the confluence with the Indus River, facilitating your return to Leh. Overnight at Leh.

Day 2

Leh - Lamayuru. After breakfast, embark on a drive from Leh to Lamayuru, passing through the Indus and Sham Valley. Visit Likir Monastery, founded by the 5th King of Ladakh, and Alchi Choskor, constructed by Rinchen Zangpo approximately 1000 years ago. Also, visit the Yungdrung Monastery. Overnight in Lamayuru.

Day 5

Hinju - Kongskil-La. Ascend gradually to Kongskil-La, where you can view the famous Stok and Karakoram ranges. Descend steeply through moraine terrain. Overnight in camp.

Day 8

Departure. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure.

Day 3

Lamayuru - Wanla via Prinkiti La.
Pack your backpacks and begin your trekking adventure. Follow a small stream before ascending to Prinkiti La Pass at over 3,650 meters, offering views of the Zanskar range. Descend through a narrow gorge and a dry streambed to Shilakong Valley, entering Shilla Village and reaching Wanla campsite. Spend the day enjoying the surroundings and visit Wanla Monastery.

Day 6

East Base of Kungski-La - West Base of Dundun Chan-La.
Begin with short walks and multiple river crossings to reach the main area of Sumda Chenmo Village. Proceed to the left of the valley for views of lush greenery and the campsite with a stunning view of Konskila.
